After twenty years of serving individuals, families, and communities as a licensed social worker, Barbara trained as a Life Coach with Martha Beck, Inc. 

Life has an interesting way of coming full circle. Barbara grew up in Germany as an "Army Brat", near Wildflecken and Bad Kreuznach. She was a military spouse for 20 years, living in the US and Germany, near Landstuhl/Ramstein/Kaiserslauten. She understands the life of active duty families, as well as National Guard and Reserve families. Barbara served as "Family Readiness Group" Chair and as a Military & Family Life Consultant from 2009 to 2013 in Massachusetts, speaking at Yellow Ribbon Events, family meetings, and supporting military members in all branches of service.
